Coming soon? Bruce Springsteen is playing at Friends Arena in Stockholm. Here are some details that’ll make your visit a night to remember. Friends Arena is in Arenastaden, an emerging district in Solna, north of Stockholm. Construction work still occurs around the arena. Consequently, accessibility may be limited when many people are in Arenastaden. So take some extra time to prepare for your visit by reading this information.Please:
1 – Come in plenty of time before the concert.
The concerts are sold out, and Friends Arena is a very big venue. So allow extra time to calmly find your seat.
 
2 – Take public transportation.
Travel via public transportation. Arenastaden is closed for motor vehicle traffic; see more information below.
 
3 – Use the entrance or gate that is specified on your ticket. Carefully follow the signs in the area.
Go the gate or entrance written on your ticket. If your party has varying entrances to the same stand section, then you’ll meet up once you’re in your section.
 
GETTING TO THE FRIENDS ARENA
Don’t take a car to the arena. There is no parking in and around Arenastaden.
 
Commuter train
Get off at Solna station, about 7 minutes from Stockholm Central station. Expect a 15-20-minute walk to the arena. The public transportation company (http://www.sl.se) schedules extra trains before and after the concerts. Follow the signs to your gate or entrance.

Subway
Get off at Solna centrums subway station, about 9 minutes from Stockholm Central station. Expect a 20-25-minute walk to the arena. The public transportation company (http://www.sl.se) schedules extra trains before and after the concerts. Follow the signs to your gate or entrance.

Extra busses
If you choose to take a bus, we recommend that you allow lots of time, because the buses can get stuck in traffic around Arenastaden.
Bus 101 from Mörby station to Friends Arena (the Evenemangsgatan street)
Bus 102 from Sundbyberg station to Friends Arena (the Evenemangsgatan street)

Taxi
Unlike previous arena events, Arenastaden is now closed to all traffic; this includes taxis on event evenings. You can leave and pick up taxis on Gårdsvägen. Expect a 15-20-minute walk to the arena.
Your car
We recommend that you take public transportation. Arenastaden is closed to car traffic, and the arena offers no parking. Traffic around Arenastaden is heavy during major events. If you nevertheless take a car, allow plenty of time, we recommend that you use regular parking in Solna. Often, it is more efficient to use a commuter parking lot and take public transportation to the arena.
Paratransit and cars with disabled parking permit
Visitors who travel to and from the arena via transportation service or private cars with disabled parking permits must pre-register by e-mail. The vehicle operators must present valid transportation service cards/disabled parking permits to enter the area or leave guests within the area. These vehicles are directed to the only entrance that allows for motor vehicle traffic: Sjövägen/Råsta strandväg.

Please specify:
If you will be left off and picked up at the arena.
Last name of the person with special transport/disability permit.
Registration number of the private car that will deliver or pick up disabled guests (applies only to a disabled parking permit, not paratransit).
Paratransit leaves and fetches in the service zone adjacent to the Hx entrance (see # 10 on map). If you book transportation service for the journey home, please note that the artist does not specify an end time for the concert.  The approximate end time is set at between 11:30 PM and midnight (23:30 – 0:00). We cannot provide a definitive answer. So when you make your transport reservation, allow plenty of time to account for this.

OTHER INFORMATION
No lining up (queuing) allowed before 7 AM the day of each concert.
The concert is an indoor production; the roof is closed.
Doors open at  5:30 PM (17:30)
No opening act.
The artist specifies no time for the end of the concert.
Light food and beverages (soft drinks and beer) are on sale in the arena’s stands. Before the concert, visit the Carlsberg Bar and Bistro 1847 (fully licensed).
Shirt and souvenir sales occur at several sites before and after the concert. Guests in 2nd and 3rd stand should go to sales sites outside the arena.
Bag/body searches at entrance. Storage area available at the arena square outside the arena, to the left above the southern stairs. See "Effektförvaring" on the map.
The venue does not offer cloak room services.

Die werden bzw. haben schon ein Plätzchen gefunden, keine Sorge...

Oha...dass ist natürlich ungünstig, dass ich nicht mit meinem Bulli direkt vor das Stadion fahren kann. Ist jmd. von euch ebenfalls mit dem Auto nach Stockholm unterwegs und hat einen Tipp, wo man am günstigsten, von der Lage her, parken könnte?

Wir sind ab Donnerstag in Trelleborg und Freitag vormittag dann in Stockholm.

Wieso nicht ?

Dass man das Spielfeld wegschieben/rausziehen kann, zeigt ja die Veltins-Arena. Aber dass man 'ne ganze Tribüne wegzaubert?!?

Nach Euren Links gibt es wohl jetzt zumindest noch Tix für die drei Konzerte.

Meine bessere Hälfte ist bis Freitag Abend noch auf Dienstreise. Wird ne kurze Nacht - äh - ein kurzes Wochenende...
