Das hört sich tatsächlich mal etwas konkreter und realistischer an. Weiß nur noch nicht so recht, was ich von Loops, electronic percussion, Hip-Hop usw. halten soll.

Hat er auf The Rising schon gemacht. Scheint irgendwer nie jemand so recht bemerkt zu haben .

Wie wär's mit , , , , oder ?

Doch, doch, habe ich schon bemerkt, kann mich momentan zumindest an Songs wie World´s Apart, Let´s be friends und The Fuse erinnern, die etwas elektronisch angehaucht waren. Von diesen drei gefällt mir allerdings nur World´s Apart. Und in den 90ern hat er ja auch schon damit herumexperimentiert, zum Teil gar nicht schlecht. Wenn es in die Richtung gehen würde, will ich auch nichts gesagt haben.

Bruce Springsteen is gearing up to release a new album with the E Street Band -- his 24th -- and a source tells the Hollywood Reporter it’s The Boss’ “angriest” yet.


“He gets into economic justice quite a bit,” says an earwitness who’s heard some of the music. “It’s very rock’n’roll. He feels it's the angriest album he's ever made. Bear in mind, though, that [Springsteen] wrote and recorded the majority of the album before the Occupy movements started, so he's not just setting headlines to music.”


Produced by Ron Aniello (Patti Scialfa, Jars of Clay), the album, which was recently played for label execs, is described as veering into “unexpected textures -- loops, electronic percussion… an amazing sweep of influences and rhythms, from hip-hop to Irish folk rhythms.” The as-yet-untitled effort is said to be “terrific.”

While no release date has been set, Springsteen is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the music conference portion of South By Southwest in Austin, Texas on March 15, fueling speculation that an album may coincide with the appearance. The boss and the E Street Band, who lost two members in 2011, Danny Federici and legendary saxophonist Clarence Clemons, have also announced a round of UK tour dates set for June.

Ich find's eigentlich sehr spannend, dass bisher eigentlich gar nichts Konkretes zum neuen Album veröffentlicht wurde.Viel besser als vor dem letzten Album, wo häppchenweise was veröffentlicht wurde und man sich so gar schon was runterladen konnte. Das kann natürlich immer noch passieren, was ich nicht hoffe. Ich werde warten,bis ich das Album in der Hand halte.

Manche brauchen entweder eine Brille oder freuen sich einfach zu sehr über diesen "kleinen" Artikel vom Hollywood Reporter.

Ich frage mich, welche Dinge den Boss denn wohl seit WOAD so wütende gemacht haben, wie nie zuvor. Solche Vorabaussagen bevor irgendwer auch nur einen Ton gehört hat sind so fruchtlos und überflüssig ... Es hat nur was von "Ich weiß was, was ihr nicht wisst." Mehr Gehalt hat's nicht.

Ich habe das auch immer so gehalten. Aber man kommt ja kaum an den vorab Veröffentlichungen im Internet vorbei.
