Note: In addition to the above Springsteen has sold approximately 6,700,000 singles, maxi-singles and EP's career-to-date in the USA

Bear in mind that in the USA, Canada, Spain and Japan "TRACKS" has outsold "18 TRACKS" .....HOWEVER......in just about every other country it has been the opposite situation - "18 TRACKS" has outsold "TRACKS". So when one adds up the total global sales - "18 TRACKS" is actually currently about 70,000 ahead of TRACKS.

In the case of "Hammersmith Odeon" - it has truly bombed in the USA (and several other countries too, like here in OZ). However it has done somewhat better in some countries (for example, it has sold slightly more copies in the UK than in the USA despite the fact the UK is only 20% of the market size as the USA).

There are some MAJOR sales swings (USA sales v non-USA sales) with many Springsteen releases. Some of the albums (especially the pre-Tunnel albums) have sold 1.5 to 3 times as many in the USA as outside the USA.....HOWEVER.....some of the post-TOL albums and videos have sold 1.5 to 3 times as many outside the USA as in the USA. The LIVE IN DUBLIN (audio-only edition) has sold nearly 4 times as many copies outside the USA as within the USA.

It's the changing Springsteen sales demographic in play.
