Gestern bekamen wir die Mitteilung, dass es bei Bruce in Nimwegen schon um 18.00 Uhr losgeht, nämlich mit der Vorband bzw. dem Singer/Songwriter "Benny Sings": https://www.mojo.nl/concerten/bruce-springsteen-goffert Er scheint in den Niederlanden als Produzent und Künstler durchaus eine gewisse Bekanntheit zu besitzen. Ich habe noch nie von ihm gehört. Mal schauen, wie's wird...

In the Dutch fb-group Tramps of the Lowlands there's a lot of discussion (not in a nice way) about the roll call for Nijmegen #1. Apperently the roll call was started on June 16 and the list was kept secret until last Friday. Rumours are floating around: one of the Tramps-moderators seems to be part of the 31 on the secret list and is becoming personal threats.

I've been going to shows for years and I remember getting up early on the day of the show to queue and have a great day at the gates, before they open, and rush in to get my spot. I know, 'everything was better in the old days'

But starting a secret list 11 days before a show... Sending rude messages ... in my opinion that is not what this community is about!"

get this: apparently the roll call started in private already 6 days ago (on the 16th!!!). the Dutch roll calls and organization are starting to take on Spring-Nuts-esque proportions. the roll call was started by a moderator of Dutch FB group Tramps of the Lowlands. not only did the roll call start six (!!!) days ago, but it was a private roll call, with numbers given out in secret to a select group of fans/friends. the roll call for the 29th has also started on the 16th.

she announced the roll call publicly in the FB group yesterday, people found out they were already meeting up at Goffertpark 5 days before that on the 16th, and got upset. her response: “i’m not going to respond online, but you’re welcome to have a discussion in Nijmegen at roll call” taking no responsibility at all

on top of that i’m hearing there are people in Barcelona in line right now with numbers on their hands already for the show in Nijmegen. this shit is wild.

i’m gonna take this up to Mojo, the local promoter, hoping they’re gonna break this whole thing up."

Ich bin auch mal gespannt. Gestern haben wir die Parkplatzhinweise für die direkt gebuchten Parkplätze bekommen. Direkt der Schock: Die Parkplätze öffnen für uns erst um 17.00 Uhr (Einlass ist um 16.00 Uhr). Was soll das?

Ja, stand aber immer vorab in den Buchungsinfos,

aus diesem Grund haben wir "Park & Walk" gebucht, Öffnung um 12.00 Uhr.

Ah, gut zu wissen. Hab die gleiche Kategorie.
Was ich aber nicht verstehe: MOJO macht ein riesen TraRah man soll bloß früh genug anreisen wegen erwartetem hohen Andrang und dann werden die Plätze erst so spät geöffnet....

Entweder ist das ein derber Logistikfehler mit den Öffnungszeiten der Parkplätze um 17 Uhr und dem Einlass um 16 Uhr, oder es ist eine Falschinfo. ??
Nun ja, ich komme mit dem Zug, das ist wohl etwas stressfreier, ebenso in Hannover, denn da wird es, wegen dem Schützenfest, eh den Parkoverkill geben.

Eine Frage zu Njimegen / Parkplatz über Mojo?
Wie habt ihr bezahlt? Nur Maestro oder ein i-dealal (nur Niederlande) möglich?

Eine Falschinfo wird es kaum sein, da es von offizieller Stelle kommt. Zudem wird die Anreise eine andere sein, da die Parkplätze für das Premium Parking schon deutlich näher am Gelände sind, als die sonstigen Parkplätze. Weiß jemand, wie sich die Anfahrtsituation generell am Goffertpark darstellt? War jemand schon einmal da?

Noch eine Frage: Habt ihr für das Premium-Parking schon den Stellplatz, Code oder was auch immer man benötigt? Wir haben bisher nur die allgemeine Information über die Öffnungszeit und die generelle Anreise bekommen.
