Man kann geteilter Meinung über John Miles Interpretation von "Born tor Run" sein, aber trotzdem passte dieser Song wunderbar in die Nokia Night of the Proms in Köln. Mit dem großen Orchester und einer E-Band war es ein gelungener Auftakt nach der Konzertpause. Mike Oldfield, OMD, Ike Turner ließen Erinnerungen wach werden und Tony Henry`s Stimme ist einfach unschlagbar. Übrigens, der Sound in der Kölnarena war super, überall. Und da gab es ja bei Bruce unterschiedliche Meinungen. Bin mir sicher, Bruce bei dieser Veranstaltung auch irgenwann einmal zu sehen. Ike Turner ist immerhin 75 Jahre und das sollte der Boss doch wohl schaffen. |
